From my positions with local, regional and national public accounting firms; and now with my own firm, I have over 20 years of experience serving tax clients. Most of my focus has been on small to medium-sized businesses and their owners. I have a wide range of industry experience from manufacturing to service businesses, and I am familiar with their compliance and potential tax-saving issues.
I graduated from Rockford University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. I later on went on to obtain a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Northern Illinois University in 2009.
Prior to receiving my degrees, I worked in accounting and customer service – 4 years with a local trucking company and 6 years with a local manufacturer. This additional experience has given me valuable insight regarding daily operations and the view from the business perspective.
I care deeply about my clients, and I measure my success by their financial wellbeing. I also care about our community, and I try to pay it forward by volunteering my time and talents for several local nonprofit organizations.
